UL Approved Natural 1.5g/Cm3 Cable PVC Compounds Used In Electric-Cable Insulation
Cable PVC compounds come in two basic forms: Rigid and Flexible.
The Rigid form of PVC is used in construction for pipe and in applications such as doors and windows. It is also used for bottles, other non-food packaging and `cards (such as bank or membership cards). It can be made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers. In this form, it is also used in plumbing, electric-cable insulation, imitation leather, signage, inflatable products and many applications where it replaces rubber.
Thermoplastic materials derived from processing polyvinyl chloride compositions, produced as granules are used in the making of PVC cable compounds. By using plasticizers, stabilizers and modifiers in various combinations and compositions, various properties are imparted to compounds depending on applications and item operation conditions.
Their dielectric properties make them perfect for sheathing & insulating electricals.
